Methodology

Genealogical Proof Standard

All research at White Dome Genealogy follows the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS) — the benchmark for sound genealogical conclusions. This means a reasonably exhaustive search, complete and accurate citations, analysis of each source and the information it contains, resolution of conflicting evidence, and a soundly reasoned written conclusion.

The Level Up matrix tracks how thoroughly each ancestor in the tree has been researched against this standard — from unknown individuals to those with full DNA correlation.
